Timeslot Configuration for Classrooms​

Purpose and Scope​

The Classroom Timeslot Templates feature within the CampX platform provides a streamlined approach to managing class schedules. It allows users to create standardized timeslot templates that can be applied to new or existing classrooms, ensuring consistency and ease of scheduling across the institution.

Accessing the Feature​

To access the timeslot templates, navigate through Configurations > Classrooms > Timeslot Templates.

Functionality Overview​

Viewing Templates​

  • Existing timeslot templates are displayed on the Timeslot Templates page for easy access and review.

Creating a New Template​

  • To create a new template, users can simply provide a name and save it.
  • Once the template is named and created, additional timeslots can be added as needed.

Managing Timeslots​

  • Inside a template's detailed view, accessible by clicking the View button in the actions column, users can see a weekly schedule from Monday to Sunday.

  • Add Timeslots allows users to insert new time intervals into the template.

  • The form to add timeslots offers an option to select multiple days of the week.

  • Users can select one or several days and define a start and end time for the timeslots, which will then be added to the template.

Assigning Templates to Classrooms​

  • When creating or editing a classroom, users can select from the existing timeslot templates to apply a consistent schedule.
  • This ensures that classroom timetables adhere to institutional standards and simplifies the scheduling process.

The Time Slots are Essential for creating Time Table for a Classroom. Make sure to Configure the Time Slot templates before configuring a Time Table

Classroom Creation and Editing​

  • The timeslot templates are an integral part of the classroom creation process, allowing users to ensure that each classroom follows a set schedule pattern.
  • Existing classrooms can also be updated with new timeslot templates by utilizing the Edit Classroom function.
