Campus Clubs
Purpose and Scope
The Campus Clubs
feature on the CampX platform allows for the creation and management of various student clubs within the campus ecosystem. It provides a structured interface for administrators and faculty to establish new clubs and manage membership, enhancing student engagement and extracurricular involvement.
Accessing the Feature
To create or manage campus clubs, users navigate to Activities
and then to Clubs
within the main navigation menu.
Functionality Overview
Creating New Clubs
- Users can initiate the creation of a new club by clicking the
New Club
button. - The creation form prompts for details such as:
- Club Name: The official name of the club.
- Description: A brief overview of the club's purpose and activities.
- Club Type: The category of the club, which could be academic, recreational, cultural, etc.
- Club Admin: A faculty member selected to oversee the club's activities.
- Cover Image: An image that represents the club, which will be visible on the club's page and possibly in the student app.
Club Management
- Within a club's page, administrators can:
- View club details including the name, description, and type.
- Manage club requests by reviewing student applications with their name, roll number
- degree, and program, and make decisions to accept or reject them in the actions column.
- See a list of current club members and their roles within the club.
Editing Club Details
- Club administrators can update club information by clicking on the
Edit
button associated with the club. - This allows for changes to be made to the club name, description, admin, and other details as needed.
Student Interaction and Accessibility
Student View and Join Requests
- Students have the ability to browse through the list of available clubs in the student mobile app.
- They can submit requests to join clubs, which are then sent to the club admin for approval.

The Campus Clubs feature serves as a digital extension of the student activities and organizations space within a university. It not only simplifies the process of forming and joining interest groups but also fosters a sense of community and collaboration among students.
