Hall Tickets

Introduction

The 'Hall Tickets' tab within ExamX is dedicated to the distribution and management of hall tickets, which are essential for students to gain entry to their examination venues.

Functionality

  • Filtering Hall Tickets: Use the Regulation and Exam Type (Regular or Supplementary) filters to sort hall tickets for different student groups.
  • View All Hall Tickets: A 'View All Hall Tickets' button, typically located at the top right of the interface, allows administrators to see every hall ticket that has been generated for the exam session.
  • Generating Hall Tickets: Depending on the system setup, hall tickets may be generated automatically once a student is registered and all prerequisites are fulfilled, or they may need to be generated manually by an administrator.
  • Accessing Hall Tickets: Students can usually access their hall tickets through their student portal or a designated area within the ExamX system.

Note: Halltickets will not be generated to the Detained studens.

From the 'Exams' main menu, select the 'Hall Tickets' tab for the exam session you're managing.

  • Apply the appropriate 'Regulation' and 'Exam Type' filters to sort the hall tickets accordingly.
  • Click 'Get Hall Tickets' or a similarly labeled button to retrieve the filtered list.

  • To review all hall tickets issued for the session, click the 'View All Hall Tickets' button.
  • This comprehensive view is useful for final checks and ensuring that all eligible students have received their hall tickets.

Ensuring Student Access

  • Confirm Hall Ticket Details: Double-check the details on each hall ticket for accuracy, such as exam dates, times, and venue information.
  • Communicate Availability: Inform students when and how they can access their hall tickets, ensuring they are aware of the process well ahead of the exam dates.
