Exam Attendance
Introduction
The D-Forms feature within the examX module serves as a digital attendance sheet, allowing faculty to efficiently record and manage student attendance during examinations. This feature is essential for maintaining accurate records for both internal and external assessments, ensuring that all student participations are properly documented.
Navigating to the Feature:
- Log into the CampX platform with your faculty credentials.
- From the dashboard, select the 'examX' module.
- In the examX sidebar, click on 'D-Forms' under the 'Exams' section.
Using the D-Forms Feature for Attendance Exceptions:
To manage attendance for an examination using the D-Forms feature:
- Access the D-Forms page within the examX module.
- The default assumption is that students are present. Therefore, you only need to mark attendance for students who are absent or involved in malpractice.
- To mark an absentee or malpractice case:
- Enter the student's roll number in the designated input field or scan the barcode on their booklet.
- The system will automatically retrieve the student's information.
- Select the 'Absent' or 'Malpractice' radio button as appropriate to record the exception.
- Confirm the status selection for accuracy before moving on to the next student.
Additional Tips:
- Verify that you have marked the attendance exceptions correctly, as these records are crucial for accurate documentation of exam conduct.
- In case of any uncertainty or errors while marking attendance, please consult with the examination coordinator or your point of contact (POC) for assistance.
