Handouts Feature in Learning Management
Purpose and Scope
The Handouts
feature within a classroom's subject section on the CampX platform is an integral component for managing learning materials. Faculty can upload and distribute handouts, which are vital for providing students with additional resources to aid in their studies.
Accessing the Feature
To access the handouts feature, faculty must navigate to their respective classroom and select the desired subject. Within the subject's learning management options, there is a dedicated Handouts
tab.
Functionality Overview
Adding Handouts
- Faculty can add new handouts by clicking the
Add Handouts
button within the Handouts tab. - During the handout creation process, faculty are prompted to input:
- Handout Title: The name or description of the handout material.
- Select Unit: The specific unit the handout is associated with.
- Select Topic: The topic within the unit that the handout covers.
- File Upload: Faculty can upload the file(s) that constitute the handout material.
Pre-requisites
- Units and topics should be predefined in the academic configuration to ensure handouts are organized and easily accessible.
Student Accessibility
- Students can access these handouts through the mobile app, where they are organized by unit and topic for convenience.
