Classroom Groups Feature
Purpose and Scope
The Classroom Groups feature in CampX is designed to facilitate the organization of students into groups, primarily for lab sessions. This allows for efficient management of time slots in the timetable and precise attendance tracking for each group due to differing lab schedules.
Accessing the Feature
Users can access the Classroom Groups feature by navigating to the Classrooms section and then selecting a specific classroom.
Functionality Overview
Group Management in Subjects:
- Within the list of subjects, users can select the three dots menu for a subject and choose
Classroom Groups
. - This is particularly useful for lab subjects where students need to be divided into different groups.
Group Creation Form:
- After selecting
Classroom Groups
, a form will appear. - Users can determine whether to create groups by selecting 'Yes' or 'No' for classroom groups.
- To create a group, enter a name for the group, assign a faculty member, and select the students to be included in that group.
Workflow Integration
Timetable Configuration:
- Created groups are taken into account when configuring the timetable, allowing for different time slots to be assigned to different groups.
- This ensures that each lab group attends at the correct times without overlap.
