Employee Designations

Introduction​

The Employee Designations module within the CampX ecosystem is an integral feature that facilitates the management and classification of faculty and staff roles within an educational institution. It provides a structured approach to defining the hierarchy and specific job titles, which is crucial for clarity in role distribution and responsibility allocation. This functionality streamlines human resource processes by allowing for the precise assignment of designations to the employees, aiding in both administrative efficiency and clear communication across the campus. This guide provides a step-by-step process for managing Employee Designation within the PeopleX Platform.

Getting Started​

To begin managing Employee Designation, here’s how to navigate:

  1. Sign in to your CampX account and access PeopleX app.
  2. Click Settingson the PeopleX Sidebar.
  3. Click on Organization to view the list of dropdown items.
  4. Click on Designation to view the list of Designations created in the organization.

Creation of designation​

To create a new designation:

  1. Click on the Add designation button located at the top right of the Designations page.
  2. Enter the name of the new designation in the Name field.
  3. Click Create designation to update the new designation.

Performing actions​

The PeopleX Administrator can update the designations by clicking the Edit action button pencil icon next to the specifc designation in the table.
