PeopleX Users and Profiles Management
Welcome to the user management section of PeopleX, an integral component of CampX's suite designed to streamline HR processes and enhance the overall administrative efficiency within educational institutions. This segment is dedicated to the critical function of assigning and managing user profiles, ensuring that each staff member has appropriate access and capabilities within the PeopleX system. Proper user and profile management is essential for maintaining a secure, organized, and effective human resource management platform. This guide will navigate you through the necessary steps to adeptly manage users and tailor their profiles to fit their roles and responsibilities within the PeopleX environment.
To begin managing People
, here’s how to navigate:
- Sign in to your CampX account and access PeopleX app.
- Click
Configuration
on the PeopleX Sidebar. - Click on
People
to view the list of users with their specificprofiles
in the PeopleX platform.
Viewing and Using the Feature:
Within the Users and Profiles module, you can:
- View a list of all users and their assigned profiles.
- Add new user profile relationships by selecting
Add User Profile Relation
. - Apply filters to sort and view users by department, role, or profile status.
Add Users:
To add user profiles:
- Click on
Add User Profile Relation
. - Select the appropriate
department
from the dropdown menu. - Choose the
user
from the list or search by name. - Select the
profile(s)
to assign to the user. - Save the changes.
Adding or Modifying Elements:
Profile Name | Description |
---|---|
Employees (Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff) | Guides for this group will cover how to access personal employment information, submit leave requests, log attendance, view pay slips, and utilize any available self-service features for employee benefits and updates. |
Department Heads/Managers (Head of Department, Vice Principal, Principal) | These guides will focus on how to manage and oversee the administrative aspects of their respective departments, approve leave requests, monitor attendance, manage performance appraisals, and access department-specific reports. |
HR Administrators | Comprehensive guides for HR Administrators will include instructions on configuring the PeopleX system settings, adding and managing user accounts, setting up workflows, generating reports, and ensuring the system aligns with organizational policies. |
HR Staff/Officers | This will include detailed workflows for daily HR tasks, such as processing leave applications, managing employee profiles, updating attendance records, and addressing employee queries. |
Payroll Managers | Guides for Payroll Managers will elaborate on managing payroll features, including loss of pay computations, salary processing, benefit administration, tax deductions, and generating financial reports. |
Leave Managers | These guides will help Leave Managers to administer leave policies, process leave applications, track leave balances, and generate leave-related reports for compliance and auditing. |
Attendance Managers | This guide will assist Attendance Managers in tracking and managing employee attendance, setting up attendance rules, monitoring compliance, and liaising with other department heads regarding attendance issues. |
IT Support Staff | IT-specific guides will be provided detailing the integration of attendance devices, maintaining data security, managing technical issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of the PeopleX platform from a technical standpoint. |

In addition to these default profiles, Campus Administrators can create custom profiles under the 'Profiles' tab. These custom profiles can be tailored with specific permissions to suit unique roles within the admissions process.

Performing Actions
- Edit: To modify a user's profile, click the
Edit
button next to their name. This allows you to update department, role, and access levels as needed. - Remove: If a user should no longer have access to PeopleX, use the
Remove
button to revoke their access and delete their profile. - Filter by Department: Use the
Filter by Department
feature to view users within specific departments, streamlining the management process.
