Class Incharge Dashboard

The Class Incharge Dashboard is a specialized tool designed for managing and monitoring a specific class's daily academic activities within a program at CampX. This Power BI dashboard will provide the Class Incharge with actionable insights into attendance patterns, course completion rates, and individual student attendance statistics.

Dashboard Overview

The Class Incharge dashboard empowers educators with real-time attendance data and academic progress reports for their class. It is geared toward optimizing classroom management and enhancing student attendance and engagement.

Section 1: Today's Attendance Calendar View

Description: This interactive calendar displays daily class sessions according to the timetable. Each class session is color-coded to reflect attendance status, and the percentage of attendance is indicated, with trends showing an increase or dip compared to the previous class.

Visualization Type: Calendar matrix with color-coded cells for attendance status and superimposed attendance percentage.

Data Points: Class name, time, attendance status, and percentage.

Section 2: Course Wise Attendance Bar Graph

Description: A bar graph showing attendance rates for each course taught within the class. It helps the Class Incharge to quickly ascertain which courses are seeing the best and poorest attendance and identify any patterns or concerns.

Visualization Type: Vertical bar graph with courses on the x-axis and attendance percentage on the y-axis.

Section 3: Bottom 5 Students by Attendance

Description: A list highlighting the five students with the lowest attendance rates in the class. This information is crucial for early intervention to address attendance issues.

Visualization Type: Table or card list.

Data Points: Student name, number of absences, and percentage of classes attended.

Section 4: Top 5 Students by Attendance

Description: In contrast to Section 3, this list celebrates the five students with the highest attendance rates, recognizing consistent attendance and engagement.

Visualization Type: Table or card list.

Data Points: Student name, number of classes attended, and attendance percentage.

Section 5: Planned vs Conducted Classes Bar Graph

Description: Provides a visual comparison between the number of planned and actually conducted classes for each course, along with a cumulative total for all courses. This bar graph allows the Class Incharge to monitor the execution of the lesson plan effectively.

Visualization Type: Side-by-side bar graph for each course, with a summary card or table displaying total planned vs conducted numbers for all courses.

Data Points: Course name, planned sessions, conducted sessions, and the variance between them.
