Introduction to Student Actions

The Student Information System in CampX Square provides a suite of actions that allow administrators to manage student statuses efficiently. These actions include detaining, undetaining, discontinuing students, as well as bulk editing and seat allotment.

Accessing Student Actions

  1. From the main menu, access Students > All Students.
  2. Apply filters to locate the specific cohort of students.
  3. Select students by checking the boxes next to their names.

Performing Actions

Detain Students

  • After selection, click on the Actions button.
  • Choose Detain Students and select the applicable reason.

Undetain Students

  • Under Actions, select Undetain Students.
  • Reassign students to their new semester, batch, and section.

Discontinue Students

  • Choose Discontinue Students from the actions list and provide the discontinuation reason.

Bulk Edit

  • Utilize the Bulk Edit feature to update the gender, semester, batch, and academic year for multiple students simultaneously.

Seat Allotment

  • The Seat Allotment allows you to view available classrooms and assign or transfer the selected students accordingly.

Utility

These actions ensure that the academic and administrative staff can maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, reflecting each student's current academic status.
