Assigning Mentees to Mentors
Purpose and Scope
The Mentor Mentee
module is an integral part of the CampX platform, designed to facilitate mentorship programs within the college. This module allows for the recording and management of interaction sessions between faculty and students, fostering a supportive educational environment.
Accessing the Feature
The module can be accessed by selecting Mentors
from the main navigation menu within the CampX platform.
Functionality Overview
Adding Mentors
- To add a new mentor, click the
Add New Mentor
button. - Select a department to filter the list of faculty and then choose a faculty member to be assigned as a mentor.
Mentor Overview
- The newly created mentor will appear in the mentors table with details such as Mentor name, ID, number of mentees, total sessions conducted, and student rating.
Viewing Mentor Details
- Detailed information about a mentor can be viewed by clicking the
View
button in the actions column.
Assigning Students to Mentors
- Assign students to a mentor by clicking the
Assign Students
button. - A pop-up with filters like Batch, Degree, Program, and Classroom will appear to help select the appropriate students.
- Multiple students can be selected and assigned to the mentor.
Managing Student Interactions
- Interaction sessions between mentors and their assigned students can be added and viewed through the mentor's page.
- By clicking on a student, faculty can manage these interaction sessions.
