Create a Faculty Feedback

Purpose and Scope

The Faculty Feedbacks module is an essential component of the CampX platform, allowing for the systematic collection of student feedback on faculty performance at the end of each semester. This feedback is vital for the continuous improvement of teaching quality and student satisfaction.

Accessing the Feature

Users can access the faculty feedback system by selecting Faculty Feedbacks > Feedback from the main menu.

Functionality Overview

Viewing Existing Feedbacks

  • Users can see an overview of existing feedbacks, displaying the name, active dates, number of responses, and total students per feedback session.

Creating New Faculty Feedback

  • To gather new feedback, users click on Create Faculty Feedback.
  • They must specify details such as the title (e.g., "B.Tech 4-2 Sem end feedback"), the start and end date, and a description.

Feedback Configuration and Management

  • Inside a specific feedback page, options to configure the feedback form and manage the target audience are available.
  • The form is built by adding pages, sections, and questions, which must be pre-defined in the Feedback Questions section of the main menu.

Adding and Customizing Questions

  • New Questions are added by navigating to Feedback > Feedback Questions.
  • Various question types are supported, such as text fields, single/multi-select, and rating scales.
  • Customizations include placeholder text, field size, and character limits.

Managing Target Audience

  • The Manage Target Audience option allows for the selection of specific batches, degrees, programs, classrooms, and subject types.
  • Users can preview the list of students who will be receiving the feedback request.

Publishing Feedback for Classrooms

  • Classroom-Specific Feedback can be published individually or all at once via the Publish all option.
  • Feedback sessions will initially be in an unpublished status until they are made active.

Student Feedback Submission

  • Once published, students will see a feedback prompt in their mobile app.
  • Students can provide feedback for each faculty member listed within their classroom, enhancing transparency and faculty accountability.

Faculty feedback is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the quality of education provided. It allows for a direct channel of communication between students and the administration regarding the effectiveness of faculty teaching methods and overall student satisfaction. The structured approach to collecting and managing feedback ensures that all voices are heard and necessary improvements can be identified and implemented.
