Employees List

Introduction

The Employee List module within CampX is a comprehensive tool that provides administrators with an overview of all staff members, their status, and various attributes. This module is designed to streamline the management of employee records and facilitate bulk actions, such as group assignments, as well as individual employee profile reviews. This guide provides a step-by-step process for managing Employee List within the PeopleX Platform.

Getting Started

To begin managing Employee List, here’s how to navigate:

  1. Sign in to your CampX account and access PeopleX app.
  2. Click Employeeson the PeopleX Sidebar.
  3. View the Employees Table for the list of created employees in the organization.

Employee List

The Employee List table contains several columns, each displaying specific information about employees:

  • Employee ID: A unique identifier assigned to each employee.
  • Username: The login username for the employee.
  • Employee Name: The full name of the employee.
  • Designation: The job title or role of the employee within the institution.
  • Department: The department to which the employee belongs.
  • Group: The group classification of the employee (e.g., Faculty, Admin).
  • Mobile Number: The employee's personal contact number.
  • Status: Current employment status (e.g., Active, Pending, On Leave).
  • Source Of Hire: How the employee was recruited (e.g., Advertisement, Referral).
  • Email: The employee's official email address.
  • Actions: Icons for viewing more details, editing, or taking other actions for the employee's record.

Multiselect Option for Bulk Assigning Employee Groups

Administrators can select multiple employees from the list and perform bulk actions. To assign employees to groups in bulk:

  1. Check the boxes next to the employees' names.
  2. Click the Bulk Assign Groups button.
  3. Choose the desired group from the dropdown in the pop-up window.
  4. Click Submit to apply the changes.

Search Option

The search bar at the top allows administrators to quickly find employees using keywords related to their name, employee ID, email address, or mobile number.

Filter Option

On the sidebar, filters allow narrowing down the list according to various criteria:

  • Department: View employees from a specific department.
  • Designation: Filter by job title or role.
  • Gender: Filter the list by gender.
  • Status: Show employees based on their employment status.
  • Source Of Hiring: Filter based on the method of recruitment.

Performing Actions

  • View: Clicking the eye icon beside an employee's details opens their full profile.
  • Import: The Import Employees option allows bulk uploading of employee data via CSV or XLSX files.
  • Export: Administrators can click on Export to export the list to an XLSX file for offline use or reporting.
  • Employee Count Report: Administrators can click on Employee Count Report to generate reports on employee count within a certain date range.
