Prerequisites for Using PayX

Before utilizing PayX for financial management, certain configurations are essential:

Fee Groups Configuration

  1. Access via Settings > Fee Groups.

  2. Click Add Fee Group, entering details like prefix, group name, payment gateway, bank name, and account number.

    This categorizes different fee types into specific bank accounts for streamlined processing.

Fee Types Configuration

  1. Navigate to Settings > Fee Types.
  2. Use Add Fee Type to specify a name and associate it with a master fee type.

Quotas Configuration

  1. Go to New Quotas and provide a name, selecting the relevant course.

These steps are crucial for setting up the PayX system to ensure it aligns with the institution’s financial operations.
